Performing at La Gaité Lyrique, Kelela took the stage with by her DJ, one drummer and two backup singers, who greatly complimented the “LMK” singer throughout her hour-long set.
Using heavy smoke machines at times, she crafted mysterious and eerie moods, while wearing a uniquely revealing but still slightly conservative white dress. With the title of the tour named after her official debut album, Take Me Apart, her setlist leaned heavy on her new tracks, but also sprinkled in some favorites off her Hallucinogen EP.
Wrapping up the tour next week, Kelela has much to be thankful for this holiday season. In addition to her music, the singer was chosen by Solange to be apart of the latest #MyCalvin’s campaign.
